Celebration of Faith

Celebrating our faith as Catholics within our school and sharing the joy and spirit of our faith with our students, families and community is a big part of what we do at Holy Family Catholic School. Part of how we do this is by permeating all lessons with the Catholic Social Teachings, helping our students to think more critically and with more perspective on how our world was created by God as were we.

We also hold special celebrations and masses based upon the liturgical calendar. All family and community members are welcome at these celebrations and are encouraged to attend as often as possible.

Throughout the year students are called to practice their Catholic Social Teaching and asked to help others.

Our Thankful Tuesday Program in October, students are asked to support the local food bank and be thankful for what they have. In December we ask students and families to help fill “Our Giving Manger,” items that are collected go towards community Christmas Hamper Projects. During Lent we teamed up with the Chalice Project, we were given a sister school in Kenya and learned about their ways and helped raise funds to purchase desks for them.
